Coming soon: the Invitalia-MIMIT call for non-repayable grants for the training and innovation of SMEs in southern Italy
From 12:00 noon on 10 September 2026 until 12:00 noon on 21 December 2026, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Apulia, Sardinia and Sicily may submit an application for a non-repayable grant to finance the training of their employees.
The measure, managed by Invitalia on behalf of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), aims to support companies in adopting new technologies and sustainable processes.
The call has a total financial allocation of over €12.4 million (€12,449,676) and provides a grant equal to 50% of eligible expenses, under two arrangements:
- for individual projects, an amount ranging from a minimum of €5,000 to a maximum of €30,000;
- for micro and small enterprises that choose to join forces by taking part in cross-regional integrated projects, a maximum grant of up to €42,000.
The priority areas of intervention are the digital transition (from artificial intelligence to cybersecurity, including 4.0 and 5.0 automation), environmental sustainability (energy efficiency and the circular economy) and the innovation of production processes.
Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the platform provided by Invitalia. To apply, it is already possible to register the applicant company and designate a delegate (if any) by accessing the "Anagrafica e deleghe" (company details and delegations) section of the Invitalia personal area.
