Among its flagship products stand out Mozzarella di Bufala Campana PDO, Pasta di Gragnano PGI, tomato preserves and processed tomato products, as well as a fruit and vegetable supply chain that is among the country’s most robust and innovative.
This high-profile agri-food system, supported by specialist skills, advanced technologies and strong integration between producers, processors and logistics, is backed by a structured educational ecosystem, including universities with departments dedicated to agricultural, food and biotechnology sciences, higher technical education pathways (ITS) and public infrastructure for quality and certification.
